Explain what is meant by diurnal motion,annual motion,precession of the equinoxes

 

Diurnal motion: Caused by earths rotation west to east, it is the motion of stars across the sky.

Annual motion: The yearly movement of stars. This is caused by earths revolving around the sun.

Precession of the equinoxes: The motion of the equinoxes along the plane of earths orbit, it moves westward, relative to the fixed stars.
